Turn the Corner
In a session with a private client the other day she was expressing frustration with how she just really wanted to “turn the corner” to not feel stuck and so far from her goal.
I reflected to her - “How many literal corners on the street would you have to turn in order to get home from our session in the studio?” She calculated the number of turns (4 to be exact!), and that with each one she would be getting a bit closer.
Think about it: from where you are now, how many corners would you have to turn to get home?
You are already making your way with each one.
There is not one big giant overwhelming distant one.
If you don’t step forward at all, you will always be in the same place. You’ll never know how close you are to turning the BIG corner until you take one small turn at a time, which each reveals the next one to take.
The small turns add up, so don’t get discouraged. Just taking one small, simple step at a time will keep you moving forward and before you know it your path will be revealed to you.
One step at a time, you've got this.
